How exactly does Luuk escrow work?
▾
When you pay via escrow, your money is held securely by Luuk — not the seller. The seller only receives payment after you confirm the item arrived and you're happy with it. If the item doesn't arrive within the agreed window, you get a full automatic refund. If there's a dispute, our team reviews the evidence and rules within 24 hours. Your money never goes directly to the seller until you say so.
I paid for an item and it hasn't arrived. What do I do?
▾
If you paid via escrow, your money is safe — it hasn't been released to the seller yet. Open the order in the Luuk app, tap "Report Issue," and our team will investigate immediately. If the seller missed the delivery window, you'll receive an automatic refund within 24 hours. If you paid via Cash on Delivery, the item physically hasn't arrived — please contact the seller through the in-app chat and report the issue to us via this page.
How long does delivery usually take?
▾
Delivery time depends on the seller's location and the agreed shipping method. Sellers are required to ship within their stated timeframe (usually 1–3 days). For same-city orders, most buyers receive their items within 6–24 hours of the seller shipping. For cross-city orders, expect 1–3 business days. You can track your order live inside the app.
How do I become a verified seller on Luuk?
▾
Verification is free and done entirely inside the app. Go to your seller profile → tap "Get Verified" → submit a government-issued ID and your business details. Our team reviews and approves within 48 hours. Verified sellers get a blue checkmark, appear higher in search results, and are eligible for the "Pay Before Delivery" option with buyers.
How do Luuk coins work and how do I earn more?
▾
Luuk coins are earned by watching product videos. Watch any video for at least 5 seconds and you earn coins automatically — no clicks required. Stack them up and redeem at checkout for discounts on any purchase. Coins are funded by sellers who allocate a small portion of their listing budget as rewards for engaged viewers. The more you watch, the more you save.
When does a seller receive their payout?
▾
Once the buyer confirms delivery (or the 3-day auto-confirmation window closes), funds are released to your Luuk wallet immediately. From there, you can withdraw to any Nigerian bank account — transfers typically arrive within 2–4 hours on business days. There is no minimum withdrawal amount.
What happens if a buyer claims the item is wrong or damaged?
▾
Both parties submit evidence — photos, videos, chat logs — through the in-app dispute system. Our Trust & Safety team reviews everything within 24 hours and makes a ruling. If the item genuinely didn't match the video listing, the buyer is refunded and the seller receives guidance on accurate listing standards. We review every case on its merits. Sellers with a strong track record are treated fairly — this is not guilty-until-proven-innocent.
How do I boost my listing to reach more buyers?
▾
Inside the app, go to any of your active listings and tap "Boost." Choose a duration (1, 3, or 7 days) and a coin budget. Boosted listings appear at the top of relevant buyer feeds. You only spend coins when a buyer watches your boosted video — it's pay-per-view, not pay-per-day. Weekend boosts perform 30–40% better than weekday boosts, so plan accordingly.
